Angela Vanek M.A., CCC-SLP Angela is a Speech Language Pathologist. She graduated from the University of Houston in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders with the honor of Summa Cum Laude.  In 2004, she graduated with a Masters of Arts degree in Communication Disorders, also from the University of Houston.  Angela has worked in many environments including nursing homes, private clinics, as well as in the public school system.  As a parent of a child with disabilities, Angela understands the daily struggle family members face, and the importance of quality therapy services.  To help other families, Angela started A+ TheraTEAM, Inc. She is fully licensed by the State of Texas, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) for national certification from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, she has special certification to provide Interactive Metronome therapy, Earobics and Fast Forword.  Her interests are broad, but she is particularly concerned with the academic successes of individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication.
